1) Who we are
Rapid Access to Medical Specialists operates walk-in and specialist referral services in Mississauga, Ontario. This Site provides general information, clinic hours, directions, and ways to submit or print referrals.
2) Not medical advice
Content on this Site is general information only. It does not replace advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified health professional. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
3) No doctor–patient relationship
Using the Site, contact forms, email, SMS, or social media does not create a doctor–patient relationship. A doctor–patient relationship is formed only when you are seen and accepted for care by a clinician.
4) Eligibility
You may use the Site if you are at least the age of majority in your province/territory, or you use it with a parent/guardian. You agree to follow these Terms and applicable laws.
5) Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information in forms and communications.
- Use the Site for lawful purposes.
- Do not upload or transmit malware, spam, or abusive content.
- Do not try to access non-public systems or data.
6) Referrals, appointments & results
- Referrals: Some services require a valid referral from a licensed clinician. We may refuse or redirect referrals that are incomplete or outside our scope.
- Appointments: Availability, wait times, and scheduling rules can change and are not guaranteed.
- Results & records: We follow privacy laws when handling personal health information. For copies of records, see our Records/Privacy pages or contact us.
7) Fees & coverage
Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) covers many, but not all, services. Uninsured services (such as certain forms, travel vaccines, some notes) may require payment. We will inform you of fees when applicable. Prices can change without notice.
8) Communications (email/SMS)
If you provide your email or mobile number, you consent to us contacting you for scheduling, reminders, referral status, or follow-ups. Email/SMS may carry some privacy risk. You can opt out at any time (this may affect service coordination).
10) Uploads and user content
If the Site allows uploads (for example, referrals or forms):
- You confirm you have the right to upload the content.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or misleading material.
- You grant us the rights needed to review, store, and share the content with appropriate clinical staff for care coordination.
11) Third-party services & links
The Site may link to third-party websites, labs, imaging providers, or telehealth platforms. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or security. Use them at your own discretion.
12) Intellectual property
The Site’s design, logos, text, and images are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view, print, or download materials for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, modify, or redistribute Site content without written permission.
13) Accuracy & availability
We try to keep information current, but errors can occur. Hours, services, clinicians, and availability may change without notice. We may suspend or restrict access to the Site for maintenance or security.
14) No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties—express or implied—about accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
15) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rapid Access to Medical Specialists and our clinicians, staff, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site or any linked services.
16) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.

18) Photography & recordings
To protect patient privacy, recording or photography inside the clinic may be restricted. Follow posted signs and staff instructions.
19) Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
20) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Disputes will be handled by the courts in Ontario.
